On June 25, 2022, Professor Jonathan A. Noyalas, director of Shenandoah University's McCormick Civil War Institute led an interpretive program titled, “They have completely surrounded the Stine House.”

The approximately one-hour tour highlighted the construction and early use of Fort Collier.
